The Security Department, otherwise known as SD, is the main combative department located within Site Athena. The Security Department ensures all operations are going smoothly and responds to any signs of hostile activity. Most notably, Security Department members will often-times station at the Guard Line located inside the Class-D Containment Zone. In order to ensure site stability, the Security Department is in a joint collaboration with the Emergency Medical Services and Combat Engineers to provide aid when needed.
As of currently, there are two sub-divisions within the Security Department. Those being the Military Police and the Tactical Intervention Unit.
The Military Police (MP) act as a combative enforcement unit working alongside the Ethics Committee with rogue handling being the Military Police's priority. Military Police members handle all public safety operations and road enforcement.
The Tactical Intervention Unit (TIU) is a riot suppression unit, given the best arsenal for any situation they may encounter on-site including. The Tactical Intervention Unit may also assist in recontainment if authorized by the appropriate unit.
